Valentine's Day in Las Vegas 2027: Romance on the Weekend the Super Bowl Moved In

Sunday, February 14, 2027 is the most contested date on the Las Vegas calendar. It is Valentine's Day. It is also Super Bowl Sunday (Super Bowl LXI, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, watched by a quarter of a million visitors in the sportsbooks and party rooms here, Jay-Z at halftime). Monday is Presidents Day, so it is a three-day weekend, and on Tuesday about 78,000 fashion buyers arrive for MAGIC at the Convention Center. This page is how to do the romantic version of that weekend anyway: which shows actually play on the night itself (the answer surprises everyone), what dinner will cost based on the same rooms' 2026 Valentine's prices, the wedding facts, and an honest read on hotel prices. The full month is mapped in Las Vegas events in February 2027, and the game-day side of the weekend lives in our Super Bowl watch parties guide.
The headline: Valentine's night is dark almost everywhere
Resident Las Vegas productions largely take Super Bowl Sunday off, and February 14, 2027 is no exception. Plan the romance around it: the big Cirque nights are Friday and Saturday, the night itself belongs to one show, and the holiday Monday quietly has the best classic-Vegas option of the weekend. Calendars checked October 28, 2026; Cirque schedules can shift, so re-confirm when you book.

So the Valentine's night play is Absinthe: the adults-only cabaret-circus in the tent outside Caesars Palace, which is arguably the most romantic room in the city for couples who like their romance with an edge, and it sells out first that weekend. The Sphere move is a Wizard of Oz matinee on the day itself (the full residency picture is in our Sphere calendar). And if you can stay the extra night, Wayne Newton on Presidents Day is the old-school Valentine's gesture: Mr. Las Vegas in a cabaret room on the holiday Monday. Extending further pays off too: Barry Manilow resumes at Westgate February 18 to 20, Jerry Seinfeld plays the Colosseum February 19 to 27, and Donny Osmond returns February 23.
Dinner: what 2027 will cost, from what 2026 charged
No Las Vegas restaurant had published a Valentine's 2027 menu when we checked on October 28, 2026; the houses post them in January. What follows is the same rooms' actual Valentine's Day 2026 pricing, labeled as exactly that, because it is the only honest predictor available. The splurge end: Delilah at Wynn, the supper-club room, ran $245 per person in 2026 (beef Wellington, lobster risotto), and Barry's Downtown Prime at Circa ran $179. The view end: the Eiffel Tower Restaurant charged $175 per person in both 2025 and 2026, the most stable Valentine's price in town, while Top of the World at The STRAT, rotating 800 feet up, skipped the set menu entirely in 2026 and sold specials a la carte (a $56 seafood fettuccine was the headline plate), which makes it the flexible budget of the romantic rooms. The value end: La Cave at Wynn did four courses for $99. One warning that saves real disappointment: outdated guides still send couples to Picasso at Bellagio. It closed in August 2024; the fountain-side room is now Carbone Riviera. The play for 2027: pick your room from the restaurants guide now, set the budget from the 2026 figures above, and reserve the day the 2027 menus post in January, because Valentine's seatings at these five rooms go in days, not weeks.
Getting married that day (or just watching)
Valentine's Day is one of the great Las Vegas wedding dates: the County Clerk's office counts February 14ths as 12 of the 20 most popular ceremony dates in the city's history, and the Clerk has described the days around it as producing more than 1,500 marriage licenses, about double a normal stretch. The mechanics stay blissfully simple: the license is $102, both of you appear in person with government photo ID, there is no waiting period and no blood test, and the Marriage License Bureau at 201 East Clark Avenue is open 8 AM to midnight, every day, holidays included. In 2026 the county even ran a pop-up license bureau at the airport from February 4 to 16; a 2027 edition had not been announced at our check. No chapel had published a Valentine's 2027 package yet either, so the day sells from standard menus: Chapel of the Flowers from $299, Graceland's Gazebo Special at $189 (its Elvis package $329), A Little White Wedding Chapel from $159 before its minister fee and surcharge. The full fee-by-fee breakdown, including the add-ons chapels quote later, is in our getting married in Las Vegas guide. Book the ceremony time now and the license takes twenty minutes when you land.
Hotels: holiday pressure, honest evidence
Expect the couples' properties to price the weekend like a holiday, and expect the citywide picture to be stranger than the hype. The evidence cuts both ways. When Las Vegas hosted the Super Bowl in 2024, CoStar measured a Friday-to-Sunday average rate of $768, peaking at $808 on the Sunday; that was a hosted year and it is not the comparison for 2027. For the 2026 game, played in California like 2027's, a Las Vegas Review-Journal survey of 137 hotels found Super Bowl weekend rooms averaging $138.88 a night, below the previous February's average daily rate of $186.16, with downtown running stronger than the Strip. The 2027 pressure is the stack rather than the game: Valentine's demand at the romantic hotels, a three-day weekend, watch-party crowds, and MAGIC's arrivals on the back end. Practical version: book early at the property you actually want, on a rate you can cancel, then watch for the soft spots that 2026 proved can appear. The romantic end of the market starts with the bridge-connected pair by Sphere, The Venetian on Expedia and The Palazzo on Expedia, and the classic splurge at Wynn on Expedia. Book the dinner and the show first; the room is the flexible part of this weekend.
The weekend, planned
Friday: land, license if you are marrying, Cirque night (O or Mystere) while they are playing. Saturday: the big dinner, a night early, when the 2027 prix fixe rooms are less besieged than on the day itself, or the same menu at the same price with better seatings. Sunday: a Wizard of Oz matinee, the game at a watch party if you want it (kickoff expected around 3:30 PM Las Vegas time; the formal time had not been announced at our check), then Absinthe at 7 or 9 PM as the Valentine's night proper. Monday: sleep in on the holiday, Wayne Newton at 7 PM, fly home Tuesday morning before MAGIC takes the Convention Center corridor over. That is the romantic version of the most sports-saturated weekend of the year, and every piece of it is bookable now except the dinners, which land in January.
Show calendars, dark dates and listings checked on Ticketmaster and the official property pages on October 28, 2026. Valentine's dinner prices are the rooms' actual 2026 prices, published as 2026 reference points because no 2027 menus existed at the check; this page will be refreshed when the 2027 menus post. Wedding facts from the Clark County Clerk; the 1,500-license figure is the Clerk's published description of the Valentine's period.
