Thanksgiving in Las Vegas 2026: Dinner Prices, Shows and What Is Open
Thanksgiving in Las Vegas is Thursday, November 26, 2026, and it is the one American holiday this city barely notices, in the best way: the casino resorts run full schedules, the holiday displays are already up, and most of the big showrooms play that night. The catch is dinner. The good rooms publish one-day menus, price them like a Saturday, and sell out their seatings weeks ahead. This guide has the verified 2026 menus and prices (checked against each restaurant's own pages on October 28, 2026), the shows that actually perform on Thanksgiving night, and what else is on across the weekend. Every menu above was checked on the restaurant's or operating group's official pages on October 28, 2026: Silverton, Fleming's, Ferraro's, Lettuce Entertain You (Mon Ami Gabi, Joe's, Eiffel Tower, Summer House), South Point.
The value end: Silverton and the buffet line
The cheapest proper Thanksgiving dinner in town is off the Strip at Silverton, a locals' casino on Blue Diamond Road. Sundance Grill serves a three-course menu for $30 (soup or house salad, rosemary-brined turkey with mashed potatoes, mushroom bread pudding, giblet gravy, green bean casserole and candied yams, then pumpkin or pecan pie), and its Mi Casa cantina does a $29 herb-roasted turkey plate. Both are full sit-down holiday menus at coffee-shop prices, and the property suggests reservations. If you want the buffet version of the holiday, South Point's Garden Buffet runs 7 AM to 9 PM on Thanksgiving Day with a dedicated all-day holiday menu; South Point also supplies this guide's most useful warning, because its official holiday page already lists Thanksgiving reservations as sold out at Baja Miguel's, Don Vito's, Primarily Prime Rib and Silverado Steak House. The middle: Mon Ami Gabi, Summer House, Fleming's
On the Strip, Mon Ami Gabi at Paris is the classic pick: a $69.95 three-course menu (endive and pear salad or pumpkin soup, herb-roasted turkey with cornbread stuffing, pumpkin bread pie) served 11 AM to 10 PM across from the Bellagio fountains, with the regular menu also available. Mon Ami Gabi also does the holiday's best logistics trick, a family-style takeout spread for four at $200.95, ordered 24 hours ahead, for anyone staying in a suite or a rental. Summer House at Durango matches the $69.95 three-course price on the locals' side of town, with children at $14.95. Fleming's at Town Square starts at $64 for the turkey and lets the table upgrade the main course instead: petite filet at $78, prime bone-in ribeye at $95, with the full regular menu running alongside.
The splurge: Eiffel Tower, Joe's, and downtown at Oscar's
The Eiffel Tower Restaurant, 100 feet above the Strip inside the Paris tower, serves its multi-course Thanksgiving menu from $135, or $185 for a reserved window seat facing the fountains, from 4:30 to 9:30 PM. Joe's Seafood in the Forum Shops does the holiday at $79.95 with the most traditional plate on this list (turkey with leg and thigh confit, Jennie's mashed potatoes, butternut squash with toasted marshmallow, pumpkin chiffon pie) and the friendliest kids' pricing, $39.95 for ages 5 to 12 and free under 5. Downtown, Oscar's Steakhouse at the Plaza, the old-school room under the dome, serves three courses for $110 from 4 to 9 PM. One honesty note: the Plaza's online menu page still showed its 2025 edition when we checked on October 28, 2026. The $110 price and hours come from the property's October 16, 2026 announcement of the 2026 menu and match last year's page; confirm the details when you reserve, at the Oscar's Thanksgiving page or (702) 386-7227.
Shows on Thanksgiving night
Most big rooms play on Thursday, November 26. These performances are on sale on Ticketmaster as of October 28, 2026:
- O by Cirque du Soleil (Bellagio) and Michael Jackson ONE (Mandalay Bay): 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
- The Wizard of Oz at Sphere: five showings across the day. See the Sphere residency calendar for the venue's full season.
- Shin Lim (Palazzo Theatre): an afternoon matinee plus 7:30 PM.
- Penn and Teller (Rio), 8:00 PM; Comedy Cellar (Rio), 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM; Mat Franco (The LINQ), 7:00 PM; Piff the Magic Dragon (Flamingo), 7:00 PM; Tournament of Kings (Excalibur), 6:00 PM; Carlos Mencia (Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club), 9:30 PM.
Two traps to avoid. Awakening at Wynn is listed as cancelled on Thanksgiving night, so do not build the evening around it. And there is no Metallica at Sphere that week; the residency's November dates near the holiday are earlier in the month. The Eagles play Sphere on the Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend instead (November 27 and 28, 8:30 PM), which makes the weekend, not the day, the Sphere play.
What else is on over the weekend
Bellagio Conservatory holiday display runs November 14, 2026 to January 2, 2027, free, and Thanksgiving weekend is its first big crowd. Ice skating on the Strip is at Fontainebleau this year: the Oasis Ice Rink (third-floor pool deck) runs November 19, 2026 to January 17, 2027, with Thanksgiving-week hours of 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM from November 25 to 28; entry to the rink deck is free and skating starts at $30, from $15 for Nevada locals on select dates. Do not go looking for the old Cosmopolitan rink: there is no official 2026 announcement for it, and 2025 reporting said it would not reopen. Ethel M's Holiday Cactus Garden in Henderson lights up nightly from 5:00 PM, November 5, 2026 to January 3, 2027, no reservations needed. There is no Raiders home game that weekend (Las Vegas is at Cleveland on Sunday, November 29), but UNLV plays Nevada at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, November 28. Government takes both days off: Clark County offices and the libraries close on Thursday and on Friday, November 27, which is Family Day, Nevada's own day-after-Thanksgiving holiday. The outlet malls had not posted special Black Friday hours on their official pages when we checked, so expect those closer to the day.
Weather and hotels
Late November is the best walking weather of the Las Vegas year. NOAA's 1991 to 2020 climate normals for Harry Reid airport (averages, not a forecast) put November's mean high at 67.1 degrees Fahrenheit and the mean low at 47.3, so bring a real jacket for after dinner. Hotel pricing treats Thanksgiving as a two-part weekend: Thursday and Sunday are the soft nights, Friday and Saturday price like a holiday.
