Christmas lights in Las Vegas 2026: dates, prices and the family math
By the ThingsVegas Editorial Team | Published November 5, 2026 | Last reviewed: November 5, 2026
Four ticketed light events run this season, and they charge three different ways: per car, per person, and per timed ticket. Ethel M is the $3 answer for a couple. Glittering Lights wins for a full car. Enchant is the big walk through splurge. This page prices a family night at each one.
Prices last checked: November 5, 2026. Last reviewed: November 5, 2026. Sources are named on this page; check the official page before you pay, because prices and hours change.

The season opens this week. Ethel M lit its cactus garden on November 5, and Glittering Lights opens November 6, per the events' own pages. Everything on this page was checked on November 5, 2026, and the one price we could not verify, the Magical Forest's, is labeled as unpublished instead of filled in from last year.
Family lights calculator: what does your group actually pay?
Enter your group and see the honest total at each event. Glittering Lights charges the car, Ethel M charges the person, Enchant charges the timed ticket.
Adults and kids 2 plus: Cars you are taking:
- Glittering Lights (cash at the gate): $39
- Ethel M Cactus Garden: $12
- Enchant Christmas (from price, before date pricing): $108
- Bellagio Conservatory: $0
Ethel M math assumes everyone pays the $3 entry; seniors 65 plus and children under 2 are free, so many families pay less. Enchant prices vary by date and entry time, so treat its line as a floor, not a quote.
Glittering Lights: what does the drive through include?
Glittering Lights runs at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7000 North Las Vegas Boulevard, from November 6, 2026 to January 3, 2027. The route is 3 miles with more than 6 million LED lights and more than 600 displays, per the event's fact sheet. Gates open at 5 PM nightly; the fact sheet lists closing at 9 PM Sunday to Thursday and 10 PM Friday and Saturday. Tickets are per vehicle with no passenger limit beyond the vehicle's legal capacity, per the official FAQ: load up, in their words, is the model. Pay cash and the carload is $39; by card it is $44. On select peak nights the $64 Fast Pass skips the entry line, and the gate offers a $25 line skip upgrade on top of a carload ticket, subject to availability. The $149 Season Pass covers two vehicles with Fast Pass included. The Santa Tram, $25 per person on select nights, is the one per person product in the lineup. A portion of each ticket benefits Speedway Children's Charities.
Ethel M: why is the $3 garden the local favorite?
Because it is a real garden first and a light show second. Ethel M's official page describes the 33rd annual Holiday Cactus Garden across its three acre botanical cactus garden in Henderson, lit with more than a million lights, open nightly November 5, 2026 to January 3, 2027, mostly 5 to 10 PM, closed on Christmas Day, with shorter hours on Christmas Eve. Entry is $3 per person, children under 2 and seniors 65 and over free, and a portion goes to Help of Southern Nevada and Three Square Food Bank, per the official page. Santa is on site daily through December 23, with the line cutting off at 9 PM sharp. New for 2026, a $40 Santa Express Pass gives front of the line Santa access for you and up to five others. The garden sits at 2 Cactus Garden Drive in Henderson, about 25 minutes from the Strip, and the chocolate factory store is part of the trip.
Enchant and the Magical Forest: the two walk through nights
Enchant Christmas takes over Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin from November 20 to December 27, 2026. Its official site bills the centerpiece as the World's Largest Christmas Light Maze, lists tickets starting from $27, and warns that prices vary by visit date, entry time and demand. General admission covers the maze and the village; the ice skating trail is a separate add-on, and entry is timed, so book the slot before you drive out. One honest correction to our own site: our Christmas guide's FAQ carried Enchant at from $25 from an earlier listing. The official site now lists from $27, checked November 5, 2026, and $27 is the figure to plan on.
The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village, 6300 West Oakey Boulevard, is the charity classic: a walk through forest of decorated trees with the Forest Express train, the Avalanche Slide and mini golf in the park. The 2026 dates are November 27 to 29, December 3 to 24, and December 26 to January 1, at 5:30 to 9 PM Sunday to Thursday and 5:30 to 9:30 PM Friday and Saturday, with children 3 and under free and new date specific tickets this year. As of November 5, 2026, Opportunity Village had not published the 2026 Christmas ticket price on its official page, so this guide prints none. The Halloween event in the same park charged $24 this October; that is a different event and we do not carry its price across.
Where should a family stay for a lights weekend?
Base on the Strip if the Conservatory and one ticketed night are the plan, and drive or rideshare to the rest; every ticketed event on this page sits 20 to 35 minutes out. Two central hotels with verified booking links: Caesars Palace on Expedia for the middle of the Strip, and The Venetian on Expedia for suite space that suits families. Has the Magical Forest published its 2026 ticket price?
Not yet, as of November 5, 2026. We print no price rather than reuse a Halloween or prior year figure. Check the official Magical Forest page before you go.
