John Mayer brings a six-night residency to Sphere in April 2027, his first solo-headliner run at the venue after playing it with Dead & Company in 2024 and 2025. Every night covers three chapters of his career in one evening: a solo set, a full-band set, and a John Mayer Trio set reuniting Mayer with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino for the Trio's first shows together since 2017.

Each concert is built as three sets in one night. The solo portion features Mayer alone on stage, leaning on his acoustic guitar work with performances on piano and electric guitar. The full-band set brings the large touring band, and the John Mayer Trio closes the circle with the blues-driven format that made "Try!" a fan favorite. Expect Continuum-era hits, Trio blues, and Sphere-scale immersive visuals and sound.

Sphere residencies routinely sell through prime inventory in hours, not weeks, and weekend nights (April 10, 11, 17, 18) will go first. Buy from official sources (Ticketmaster or johnmayer.com) first and compare resale listings carefully, since Sphere residencies sell quickly and markups climb near show dates. If you are flexible, the Thursday shows (April 8 and 15) are the better bet for leftover face-value seats.
