Best hotels for the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026

By the ThingsVegas Editorial Team | Published 2026-10-10 | Last reviewed October 2026

The Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix runs November 19 to 21, 2026, with the main race under the lights on Saturday night, November 21. The 3.8-mile, 17-turn Las Vegas Strip Circuit turns the busiest part of the Strip into a racetrack, and hotel demand for race week surges accordingly. Where you sleep decides how much of the weekend you spend in traffic and how close you are to the noise.

The good news for your wallet: race-week rates are nowhere near the madness of the inaugural 2023 race, when average stays reportedly topped $2,000 a night. Rates have fallen two years running, and 2025 race-weekend accommodation was reportedly about 24% cheaper than 2024. Rooms with track views still command real premiums, though, and prices climb the closer you get to race week. Thanksgiving falls on November 26, the very next week, so late November stays busy for two weeks straight and extending a race-week trip into a holiday stay usually costs more.

The circuit: where the track actually runs

The 3.8-mile Las Vegas Strip Circuit runs along Las Vegas Boulevard itself (the Strip), plus Koval Lane, Harmon Ave, and Sands Ave. The cars race past the biggest resorts in the world: Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Cosmopolitan, Paris, Flamingo, Harrah's, and The Linq all sit directly on the circuit. Hotels on the Strip between Sands Ave and Harmon Ave are closest to the action; that stretch is the heart of race week, with the fastest straight running right past Bellagio.

Bellagio is the marquee hospitality address: it hosts the Bellagio Fountain Club, perched above the Fountains of Bellagio with a front-row view of the circuit's longest straightaway. Three-night tickets for 2026 are priced at $8,400, inclusive of tax and handling, and the experience has sold out three years running. If that is the weekend you want, plan it around staying at Bellagio.

Can you actually watch the race from your hotel room?

Honest answer: sometimes, and never guaranteed. Strip-facing, high-floor rooms at Bellagio, Caesars Palace, and Cosmopolitan may overlook the circuit, but hotels do not promise a view of the racing. Temporary grandstands, track fencing, and hospitality structures can block sightlines, and the race runs at night, so what you see depends heavily on the room.

If a room view matters to you, book a designated "Strip view" room category, ask the front desk about upper-floor, Strip-facing rooms at check-in, and expect to pay more for the category. Treat any actual sight of the cars as a bonus, not a plan.

How to beat race-week prices

Book early. Rates climb as race week approaches, and the on-circuit hotels with Strip-view categories sell those rooms first. Six to nine months out is the sweet spot.

Consider off-Strip or Downtown. Downtown and off-Strip hotels run much cheaper during race week. The monorail and rideshares reach the circuit in about 15 to 20 minutes, but plan for slower traffic and road closures.

Arrive midweek. Flying in Monday or Tuesday is usually cheaper than a Thursday arrival, and you get settled before track construction disrupts the Strip.

Compare the all-in total. Resort fees do not rise for the race, but room rates do. Always compare nightly rates including resort fees and taxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book a hotel for F1 race week?

As early as possible. Rooms with Strip views and hotels closest to the circuit sell out first, and rates typically climb the closer you get to race week. Six to nine months ahead gives you the widest choice of rooms and the best shot at a track-view room category.

Do Las Vegas hotels sell race-view packages?

A few do. Bellagio sells the Fountain Club hospitality experience overlooking the fastest straight, and Caesars properties offer race viewing experiences during race week. Most hotels instead sell Strip-view room categories, but a Strip-view room is not a guaranteed view of the racing.

Is Downtown Las Vegas a good base for the Grand Prix?

It is the budget play. Downtown and off-Strip hotels run noticeably cheaper during race week, and the monorail plus rideshares connect you to the circuit in about 15 to 20 minutes. The tradeoff is that the nightlife, fan zones, and watch parties all happen on the Strip, and road closures make race-week traffic slower than usual.

Which side of the Strip is better for F1 week?

Proximity matters more than side. The circuit runs along Las Vegas Blvd itself, so the most important thing is staying on the Strip between Sands Ave and Harmon Ave. Within that stretch, hotels like Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Cosmopolitan, and Paris sit right on the action.

Are resort fees higher during race week?

No. Resort fees are fixed per hotel and do not change for the race. The room rate itself is what spikes. Always compare the all-in nightly total including resort fees and taxes when shopping race-week rates.
